![]() ![]() Since the bin isn't a bone bin, you'll have to search for a "finished goods bin", or just look at the "crafts" category (with "m" toggled). PS: If you were using the search filter for "bone", that's your reason - items are not taken out of containers to bring them to the depot, and the depot's search filter will also only filter for the container's name. What you're showing is just the wonky trade depot stocking behaviour, not really something for the bug tracker but rather for the suggestions forum at bay12. Types of items used for storage include containers, cabinets, barrels, large pots, and bins. All storage objects are used to hold items, from personal possessions to gems, alcohol, quarry bush leaves, and even living creatures, but their use is context-sensitive, so you cannot use your barrels for storing coins, but you can b uild a bag as a dwarf's personal storage object, analogous to a chest. Moreover, it’s wise to place the Trade Depot deep inside the fortress to keep it safe. Keep in mind that the depot needs a 3-wide corridor for the caravans to pass through. The unmodded game has definitely _no_ problem finding the bin. Click on the place structures at the bottom of the screen. This behavior generalizes somewhat to all other containers. Once trade begins you can trade specific items from the bin, or the whole bin at once. If you bring that bin to the trade depot it will bring all (non-artifact) items stored in it. It also gets properly carried to the depot, but you again need to toggle "m" to actually see it in there.Īre you using some third-party utility that does "helpful" stuff to your various interfaces? That's the only place where an actual bug could still be present. This includes all items you start the game with, all items immigrants bring with them, and all items belonging to traders and invaders. It looks like all of your crafts are stored in a bin. Both when "s"earching for "finished" and when looking at "crafts" the bin at 1 square away is properly shown. You can see the bin is actually on the right hand side of the trade depot directly adjacent to it.Ĭlick onto depot, "m" to ignore mandates. If you want to sell food or liquid to elves, it's best to use a large pot or one of their own grown wood barrels. (Select on 'bone' or just scroll through the list) Elf traders will reject containers holding a prohibited item, otherwise-acceptable items stored in a prohibited container, and all items decorated with a prohibited material. * Try to find the finished goods bin (custard wood) that is full of bone crafts. Confirmation is shown when trying to offer/seize goods and when trying to trade with huge trader profit. Spawn items under the cursor, to get your fortress started. They aren't forbidden, or marked to dump. Updating Dwarf Fortress in Docker container. Merge stacks of plants or plant growths in the selected container or stockpile. Bins must be made out of wood or metal, barring strange moods producing bin-artifacts. Items: Soap (Cleaning) Thread (Suturing) Crutches Gypsum Plaster OR splints. Often things in barrels, gems, and clay for example. Stockpiles are optional if you include storage containers such as cabinets. ![]() They seem to always remove the unsold items sent the depot, but leave some purchased items there. I can have Dwarves idling, but they wont clear all the items that I purchased. After trading, many items will be left at the trade depot. They do not show up when selecting goods for trading. Quote from: BoogieMan on July 24, 2015, 06:54:25 am. I have two finished goods bin full of bone craft items. If your items are in the depot in a bin, you can trade individual items from the bin, but for any other type of container you can only trade the entire contents at once.
